Interesting article
Hi All,
I recently read the following (Canadian) article and immediately thought it might be interesting/relevant to many of us, particularly as we move along the path of inter- and trans-disciplinary collaboration. It is re: how biomedical scientists perceive the social sciences and the validity of social science (qualitative) research.
Albert M, Laberge S, Hodges BD, Regehr G, Lingard L. Biomedical scientists’ perception of the social sciences in health research. Social Science & Medicine, 66(12), 2520-2531.

Happy reading!

Hi Robin,
Interesting read, thanks for sharing. Couple thoughts:
1. Conclusion stings but good to be aware of this perspective.
2. Interesting methodological choice to quantify some qual data – wonder if this was to appeal to those readers who are less keen on qual research?
