    CAHSPR conference – May 2012 

    Hi All,

    The KTTC has a face-2-face group who works on opportunities for members to meet and network in-person. One event that many KTTC’ers attend is the CAHSPR conference each spring:

    This year’s conference is in Montreal, May 29-31. If there are members planning on attending, we can work on arranging a KTTC meeting at the conference. So … anyone out there planning on attending CAHSPR this year, or being in Montreal at the end of May? If so, just reply to this blog to let us know.

      Also, for those interested in the field of mental health, CAHSPR has a Mental Heatlth Theme Group, and we are in the process of organizing and promoting mental health related activities and content in the conference program. In particular, this year we are collaborating with the primary health care theme group to hold a session pertaining to the intersection between mental health and primary care…

    First KTTC paper published in Implementation Science 

    Hi Everyone,

    Several members of the KTTC recently published a paper in Implementation Science about the 2010 Winnipeg meeting and the early development of the KTTC.  It can be found at:  http://www.implementationscience.com/content/6/1/98/abstract. 

    The paper was picked up and publicized in two KT-relevant listservs: E-Watch on Innovation in Health Services (Canadian) and Dissemination and Implementation in Health Listserv (American).  Woo hoo!  EC

    KTTC TO mtng expense claims

    All expense claims have now been processed by UBC; however, the cheques are held up by the postal strike. All cheques will be put in the mail once mail delivery resumes. Sorry for the delay. EC

    CIHR MPD grant – success! 

    Hi Everyone,
    We were successful with the CIHR MPD grant spring competition! This means we can start planning our second meeting. The meeting committee (headed by Robin) will meet soon to get the ball rolling. Exciting times!!

    CAHSPR Conference May 10-13, 2010 in Toronto 

    The CAHSPR (Canadian Association for Health Services and Policy Research) Conference is being held in Toronto May 10-13, 2010.  Details at: http://www.cahspr.ca/Conferences/tabid/78/Default.aspx

      Hey KTTC-ers.
      Just a quick update on the CAHSPR meeting and the KTTC meeting piggy-backed on it. We are planning to meet at the conference hotel from 5-7pm on Tuesday May 11. The room we have is Dockside 9. A more formal teleconference enabled meeting will run from 5:30-6:15EST (details on how to connect coming soon). The rest of the meeting will be more informal networking.     Gearing up for the KTTC Inaugural Meeting 

    After months of (virtual) meetings, we (as a group/network/collaborative/CoP) are finally meeting tomorrow. Evelyn remarked how there will be people we will be meeting in person the first time. Astounding that the planning group have accomplished so much with only the commonality of  our interest in KT research!
