Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC)

The stakeholder committee is composed of members from various groups including health care professionals, patients/public, policy makers, researchers, publishers, and funding agencies. This group has two meetings a year, one by videoconference and one face-to-face. It receives reports from the Steering Committee about KT Canada activities, and advises on direction for new initiatives, and emerging policy initiatives around Canada.

The SAC provides input to KT Canada on:

  1. dissemination and implementation strategies for research from KT Canada which will be targeted to various stakeholder groups
  2. research directions in collaboration with the International Scientific Advisory Board
  3. strategies for capacity building in KT
  4. funding opportunities for KT research and practice initiatives to optimise sustainability of KT Canada
